Thank you for visiting my Bat Mitzvah website. My Big Day is almost here! You can visit this site to find everything you’ll need to know about all the festivities.

On the weekend of September 3-4, I shall celebrate traditions from the past as building blocks for my future. Coming of age for a Jewish girl happens at the age of twelve---it is when she becomes a Bat Mitzvah. This tradition dates back Centuries!

In Reform synagogues, girls and boys mark symbolic entry into Jewish adulthood at age thirteen. The bar or bar mitzvah is usually celebrated on the Shabbat closest to the child's thirteenth birthday. - See more at: http://www.reformjudaism.org/bar-and-bat-mitzvah#sthash.yFgnEyX5.dpuf
